Happy Almost Holidays

Next week (Monday December 12- Friday December 16) is a rather special week for a number of reasons.
1. THE MOVE: The first point being that (hopefully) this will be division 10's last week in the library. Starting in the new year we will be moving into Mrs. Middleton's old classroom!
2. BOOK FAIR: The Book Fair is here!! Our class will be allowed time to visit on Monday during their library time. Please bring your money during that time if you wish to purchase any items. They will also be able to browse after school. It will be held in the multipurpose room.
3. BOOK SHARE: On Tuesday afternoon (after our P.E. time) we will be having a book share. Thank you to Ms. Chapman, who has kindly opened her classroom to us for the entire first semester. She is now offering her books to us on this special, Tuesday afternoon. How cool is that?
What will the afternoon look like? The students are able to bring their favourite blanket or housecoat or stuffed animal, and most importantly if they have a favourite book at home, please bring it. We are going to find a cozy place in our classroom (the library) and use this time to read with our classmates. If you really want to, you can bring appropriate pajama's to school and change into them after our P.E. time.
4. CHRISTMAS ASSEMBLY: We will be having a Christmas Assembly on Friday Morning. More details to come.
5. CHRISTMAS PARTY: On Friday afternoon, Division 10 will have a christmas party in the multipurpose room. You are welcome to bring some of your favourite goodies to snack on. I will set up a food list with the class. Please do not feel obligated to contribute. Any items are appreciated though. If you do bring food to school please bring enough to share with our 24 classmates and a friendly reminder that we are a peanut free school.
6. LAST WEEK: It is also the last week before our winter break holidays. It should be a packed last week, but a fun last week. Just a reminder to the students, with all of the excitement please remember to have fun, but to always practice our virtue of self-discipline and respect.
